Support
There are lots of opportunities to support ministry in Australia and abroad through the PWMU. We appreciate your prayers, keeping up to date on cross-cultural work, spreading information, and your support.
if you'd like to support us you could:
Make a donation
If you or your organisation would like to support our mission workers financially, the most direct way to do so is via a donation. Any amount, large or small, helps make a difference. Simply download the form and follow it’s instructions to donate via cheque or online banking.
become a member
Becoming a member of PWMU is one of the best ways you can support cross cultural workers. When you become a member you gain access to 10 newsletters a year and other information on who PWMU supports. Being a member helps cross cultural work through information sharing, prayer and finance. click the link to learn more.
attend an event
PWMU events are great places to meet other supporters and workers, learn about mission, encourage others and be encouraged through God’s work. We organize events featuring current and future workers, events for children, and more. Click the link below to see what are events are available.
Book of Remembrance
When a PWMU member dies, any member or branch may make a donation to PWMU to have the name written in the Book of Remembrance. Simply send a letter with details of the deceased, including date of death and next-of-kin. A card is sent to the next-of-kin and the donation is sent to Kirkbrae Presbyterian Homes.
Donations may also be made at the funeral of a member. Their name is written in the Book of Memorial Donations and the gift is either allocated by Council to a worker we support, or the donors may specify where they want the donation to go.
Stamp service
A fun and easy way to provide financial support is through our collection of used stamps for resale. Simply hold on to your used stamps, and when you have a few, organise to drop them off or mail them to our office. We will re-sell them, and all the money will go towards supporting cross cultural Christian work. To organise mailing or a drop off, click the link below and get in contact.e
Buy a book
We provide a range of written material from our famous cook book, to newsletters, to a children’s magazine. These are all great opportunities to learn, grow, stay up to date and provide financial support to cross cultural mission work.
